Moreover, it stands out as the first app to enable an affordable augmented reality headset experience by leveraging a repurposed VR headset. Users with Google Cardboard can transform their iPhones into AR headsets, rendering their surroundings in VR through images captured by the device's camera.
For users of select newer iPhones and iPads equipped with a built-in LiDAR scanner, AR MultiPendulum leverages this technology to enhance the realism of rendered environments and accurately reconstruct the 3D positioning of their hands within the simulation.
